Making Learning Visible

St James is part of the "Making Learning Visible Collaborative", the focus of which is to build our collective capacity to embed the practices that make learning visible in every classroom across our schools. It is all about knowing the impact of our teaching on each student's learning and responding to move learning forward.

We use three high yield strategies to evaluate the impact of teaching and leadership on learning progress for each student. Those strategies are: Using Data to Lead Learning; Review and Response Cycles and Learning Walks and Talks.

Teachers at St James make learning visible to students by explicitly discussing the Learning Intentions and Success Criteria.
