The community of St James Primary has access to external specialists to support the diverse learning needs within the school. If a child has been identified with a particular need our Support Teacher Inclusive Education will liaise with allied health professionals. These specialists may then visit the school to administer assessments and/or conduct therapy sessions and collaborate with school staff to support the learning needs of students.
Visiting specialist may include:
- Speech Therapist
- Occupational Therapist
- Physiotherapist
- Advisory Visiting Teacher - Hearing Impairment
- Advisory Visiting Teacher- Physical Impairment
