This year STEAM Week will run from Monday, 4th November to Friday 8th November
(Week 5, Term 4).

We will once again hold a variety of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths activities from 2 – 3pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. If you are able to assist with the running of these activities, please contact me via email with your availability. We would greatly appreciate any help that you are able to give! On Monday (4th November) all students will then participate in a whole school incursion. We will conclude our STEAM Week with the annual St James Science Fair. Later this term the students will receive further information about the Science Fair. I have heard that many students are already beginning work on their presentations.

Lastly, if you have a special ‘STEAM skill or talent’ that you might like to share with our students of perhaps a small group of children, please contact me on the email address below. In previous years we have been lucky enough to have had several guest speakers. These have included Mr Bennett who assembled and activated a giant catapult, Mr Dell who taught our students about data collection and measuring as well as a computer expert who was able to show us the amazing world inside a computer.
