The 2020 School Year Comes to an End

As we close the door on the 2020 school year, I want to take the opportunity to thank you all for your incredible support. The year has provided so many vivid memories and despite the changes brought about by Covid-19, I believe the year has been very successful.

To all the departing students and those families who are finishing their time at St James, thanks so much for being a part of the St James family and contributing in so many positive ways. Many of our departing families have made significant contributions through the P & F, school board and general volunteering. On behalf of the St James staff I wish you all of God’s blessings as life’s journey takes us on differing paths.

To our magnificent team of staff who work tirelessly to ensure that each of our students are loved and are consistently making progress in their learning. Without their passion and commitment to the vocation of teaching, St James would not be the great school that it is.

Furthermore, I would like to congratulate all our St James students for completing a successful year of studies. The progress that every learner has made this year is phenomenal and parents, I hope you are proud of their efforts. Congratulations to our graduating Year 6 students. Wednesday night’s Graduation Liturgy was a beautiful ceremony. Well done to Maria for being named this year’s Spirit of St James Award winner. She is a very worthy recipient of this award.
