All belongings should be marked clearly with your child’s name. Your child should be responsible for all items required at school and your role is to assist by having everything clearly named.White liquid paper is an effective marker for dark items.
Toys and other expensive items are not to be brought or worn to school.
MOBILE PHONES If parents feel the need for the child to have a mobile phone at school, the school takes no responsibility for the safety for the phone.
i-PODS, MP3 PLAYERS ETC: Are not to be brought to school.
JEWELLERY: Stud earrings are the only jewellery to be worn at school. Watches are to be worn in Years 6 and 7 only.
MONEY: Children do not need money at school except for tuckshop and this should be kept in a purse inside a pocket. $1.50 is the limit for spending on ‘treats’ at the Tuckshop.
Any large amounts are to be in a marked envelope and given immediately to the class teacher who will send the money to the Office or keep it safe until required.
LOST PROPERTY: If all things belonging to a child are clearly marked, items will be returned to the owner. Unnamed articles of clothing, lunch boxes etc are displayed for collection. Unclaimed clothing is sent to the Uniform Shop or St Vincent de Paul.
