Vision for Religious Education

As a Catholic school founded on the traditions of the Sisters of the Good Samaritans we strive to engage the Head, Heart and Handsof our students through Spiritual Formation (Head), Gospel Spirituality (Heart) and Spirit in Action (Hands).

  • Articulating a balanced and clear understanding of the Catholic Faith.
  • Understanding the Christian Faith through the Word of God
  • Building religious literacy using a reconceptualist approach.

  • Embracing the peace of the spirit with reflective stillness and silence.
  • Recognising that listening to the Word of God will guide our faith in everyday actions.
  • Deepening our personal relationship with God through the love of Jesus in prayer, worship and ritual.

  • Living the Gospel in actions and words for our global community through stewardship of creation.
  • Striving to be people of compassion and partnership who are able to walk in the shoes of others.
  • Responding to the needs of the poor and marginalised with hospitality, healing and humility.
