School Fees

At St James Catholic Primary School, we are committed to providing quality education with transparent and affordable fees for all families. The School Board, in consultation with the Parish Finance Committee, sets the school fees for each school year.

  • Tuition Fee: General tuition, administration, and operating costs
  • Capital Levy: Building repayments and maintenance
  • Parents and Friends Levy: Community and parent initiatives
  • Resource Levy: Dance, drama, swimming, excursions, teaching resources, library, IT equipment
  • Device Levy: IT device costs and support

Additional Charges:

Year 4 Instrumental Music ($225 per term), school camps (Years 4–6), booklists, and lost/damaged library books are charged separately.

Billing and Payment Options

  • Fees are billed per term.
  • Payment methods include Direct Debit, BPay, Credit Card/Debit Card (EFTPOS), and Centrepay (Centrelink).
  • All accounts must be settled by the end of each term.

​Enrolment Fees

  • Application Fee: $30 (non-refundable)
  • Confirmation Fee: $100 per child (credited to your first fee account and non-refundable should your enrolment not proceed.)

Fee Concessions

Fee concessions are available for eligible families experiencing financial hardship. Please contact our Finance Secretary​ for details or to apply.
