Thank-you so much for all your donations to the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal. As part of our calling and mission to live the gospel, each term St James focuses on a different organisation to support. It is our way to reach out to others and a very important aspect of our Catholic Identity. Term 1 is Caritas’ Project Compassion, Term 2 is the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal, Term 3 is the Catholic Missions and in Term 4 the St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal. Your donations are gratefully received by the St Vincent de Paul local chapter and will be distributed to people in our area who are struggling at this time.

The recent ‘Jersey Day’ to coincide with the State of Origin raised just over $100 and again, the local St Vincent de Paul chapter thanks you for your donations.

This year we were asked to collect groceries for the Romero Centre who are currently being supported by Brisbane Catholic Education schools. We will deliver the groceries to the centre next week. Once again, thank-you for your support.
